Anne Dowriche (née Edgcumbe, d. c.1613)) was author of The French Historie: That is; a lamentable discourse of three of the cheife...broiles that haue happened in France for the Gospell of Iesus Christ (London, 1589), a verse history based on English translations of French historical works, notably by Jean de Serres. No surviving manuscripts by her are recorded.
